William Devin Howell, a drifter with a lengthy criminal record is the prime suspect in a case that could disclose the existence of one of the most prolific serial killers in New England history. He is serving a 15-year prison sentence for manslaughter for the killing of one of the people found buried behind a strip mall. Six other sets of skeletal remains have been found. He has not as of summer 2015 been charged in the other killings but charges should be leveled soon.
