Sean Richard Sellers, executed February 5, 1999 for crimes committed while under the age of 18. Sellers was the first person in the United States to be executed for a crime committed under the age of 17.His case drew worldwide attention due to his age as well as his jailhouse conversion to Christianity and his claim that demonic possession made him innocent of his crimes.
This is a handwritten 2 page (both pages are front and back equaling 4 pages total) letter from Sellers and was written on March 26, 1998. Letter is signed 'Sean'
This is an interesting letter from Sellers in that at one point he expresses his anger at televangelist Bob Larson for using his name to promote his TV ministry and profit - without first asking Sellers for permission to use his name. He also talks about the horrid conditions on H-Unit at Oklahoma State Prison.
Portion of letter:
This letter is at a reduced price due to the fact that there is about a 2 inch water stain blotch on the first page.It isn't noteable, but it is there so we felt even though this letter is historic, that we should offer it at a slightly lower price.
