Gary Sinegal, a man with a career of robberies, also who has been referred to as "possibly mildly retarded" reached his peak of criminal activity when his MO changed from robbery to home invasion, robbery, and murder. Sinegal would scope neighborhoods out on his bicycle and would usually choose a single and/or widowed elderly white woman as a victim. He would verbally assault his victims before beating and bludgeoning them to death and then he would stuff the corpses into a closet or tight confined space in the house. He was charged with two murders but authorities from Louisiana believe the Texas criminal may have murdered elderly white women there as well.
