Demarcus Smith and three of his friends have become known to the residents of Ohio as the infamous, feared, and hated "joykiller club". Boredom, empty pockets, and evil led Mr. Smith and his sidekicks on a three day spree of hold ups, robberies, and ultimately murder. One victim was even shot as she exited a public telephone booth. Five were left dead, and four crucially injured due to the short lived but hellish spree of the Joykillers. "Once they tasted blood, they couldn't stop" stated a local deputy during court proceedings.
