Routier was convicted of killing her two of her sons and is awaiting execution on Texas' death row. Routier blamed the murders on an intruder, but the jury convicted her even amongst strong defense evidence - as an example: her neck had been slashed, as well she had several defensive wounds on her arms and hands.
