Aeman Presley is accused of killing four people across two Georgia counties. In DeKalb, he is charged with gunning down 53-year-old Calvin Gholston on Sept. 27, 2014. Gholston was homeless; he was killed at the shopping center where he often slept. Police believe Presley also shot 44-year-old Karen Pearce to death in downtown Decatur on Dec. 6, 2014. Pearce was killed as she returned to her car after eating dinner with friends.
Presley is also accused of killing two more homeless men -- Dorian Jenkins and Tommy Mims -- in Fulton County last November. Fulton County prosecutors also plan to seek the death penalty for Presley. Presley was arrested in December after MARTA police caught him trying to get inside a rail station without paying the fare and is awaiting trial on the four murders.
