Charles Severance is a Virginia serial killer who was convicted of the murders of three prominent Alexandria, Virginia residents in 2015. Prosecutors said Severance harbored a grudge against those who he perceived to be the city's elite after losing a custody battle over his son. He was sentenced to three life terms for the murders.
