Alfred Gaynor is a black serial killer from western Massachusetts who is among the most prolific serial killers in recent Massachusetts history. Prosecutors and police say he robbed women for drug money, raped most of his victims and often posed their bodies grotesquely to shock whoever found them. In several cases, they were discovered by the victims' young children. Gaynor was convicted in 2000 of four murders. He has since plead guilty to four others.
This piece is a haunting 11" X 8" abstract hand tracing from Gaynor on white paper of both of his hands with two eyes in the center. He used what appears to be color art pencils and/or art markers on the piece. He has signed the piece in full as well as dated it in the lower left hand front corner and on verso he has written 'Hand Abstract'. Dark rich colors and would look great framed.
